Sharon Behrendt, BSc., ND, Clinic Director

Dr. Behrendt is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor who enjoys working with people of all ages, but has a special interest in women’s health and pediatrics.  She received an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph in 1995, and went on to complete her medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.  She has been in private practice in Ottawa since 2001.

Dr. Behrendt regularly attends conferences and seminars to stay on top of the latest research and treatments in both conventional and complementary medicine to improve the care she can provide at the Orleans Wellness Clinic.  She has received extra certifications in drainage therapy, women’s health, digestive diseases, cancer treatment, and in May 2008 was certified by Defeat Autism Now! as a specialist in autism treatment.

Dr. Behrendt has been featured on television, written magazine articles, and has lectured on contemporary health issues at various venues, including health clinics, corporations, and women’s health shows. 

Jamie Lavergne, Office Manager

Jamie, the office manager, works very closely with the naturopathic doctor to deliver the best possible care to our clients.  Jamie is hard-working, welcoming, dedicated and helpful to our clients. She looks forward to helping you with any questions you may have, via e-mail or telephone, and greeting you for your appointments with a warm smile and a hot cup of tea!
